Low outdoor cabinets: shelves and easy front access

Choose a terrace cabinet by depth, shelving and door clearance, with the 80 cm wide Keter Moby Low.

A low cabinet is useful when many small objects are easier to arrange on shelves. Compared with a chest, you lose one large continuous space but gain front access: a watering can or small box can come out without removing everything above it.

Keter Moby Low: 80 cm wide

This version is 80 cm wide, 44 cm deep and 100 cm high, with two doors and two adjustable shelves. The resin cabinet is listed for outdoor storage with water resistance. That does not make it a watertight container.

What shelves suit best

Garden accessories, empty pots and small boxes are easier to separate by height. Large cushions may fit less efficiently because shelves divide the interior. For bulky textiles, compare a chest or low shed with front doors.

Allow space in front

The listed depth does not include room to open the doors and crouch down. Use a stable surface and follow the manufacturer’s wall-fixing recommendation. A lightweight cabinet is not a step or seat.

When to choose a tall cabinet

A broom needs a clear vertical section, not simply more litres. Choose the low format for smaller items you can reach directly. Keep indoors anything that requires protection from damp or extreme temperatures.
