Occasional guests or nightly sleeping?
For occasional guests, simple opening and nearby bedding storage are useful. Nightly sleeping needs closer attention to the surface construction, joints and support. A folding mechanism alone does not prove suitability for everyday sleep.
Leave room to open and walk past
Mark the unfolded bed on the floor and check access to the door. Make sure the coffee table can move without blocking another route. Closed dimensions do not automatically reveal the open depth.
Storage has practical limits
Opening size and interior shape determine what fits. A bulky duvet may fill most of the compartment. Store dry bedding with frequently used items on top.
